I discovered this lemongrass during a mission to Sri Lanka in 2009. I had been looking for a long time for a dry lemongrass with flavors close to fresh lemongrass, very commonly used in cooking in many tropical countries, this plant flourishing in a humid tropical climate. I fell in love with this one, the producer having managed to preserve the fresh vegetal and lemony side of the plant during dehydration, quite an art!
