It is located in the Matara District. Rich in buds that bring vivacity, it releases zesty and woody facets that will seduce Earl Grey lovers. The Lumbini tea estate is located in a valley next to the Sinharaja forest reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is one of the few primary rainforests on the planet, rich in endemic species. This proximity to the forest creates a cool, misty, preserved ecosystem for the plantation that is conducive to tea growing.

De tous les thés cultivés par Lumbini (autant ceux disponibles ici que ceux que l'on peut se procurer directement auprès de la plantation) ce cru est, selon moi, le meilleur de tous, et haut la main. Son goût corsé, mais également boisé avec une légère saveur fumée, offre une dégustation profonde et exceptionnelle. Je le recommande sans hésitation. Aromatisé avec de l'huile essentielle de bergamote, il donnerait un Earl Grey puissant et époustouflant.
