Harvested in the Lai Chau region in northern Vietnam, from the same cooperative as Beauté Orientale de Lai Chau, its name is inspired by the Chinese name Bai Mu Dan which means White Peony because its leaves evoke dried white peony petals. It is one of the most famous white teas. Its cup gives notes of almost honeyed fruits. Its amber color is close to that of acacia honey. Its supple tannins and thirst-quenching character persist, even when forgotten in the teapot!
