Its sweet smoky aroma is obtained thanks to a beech wood smoking process that I carry out in my workshop. I chose this tea from China for its soft tannins and its notes of dry wood and leather, almost a little tobacco. Bewitching, just like its amber color.
It is an inspiration of the traditional Chinese smoked tea, Lapsang Souchong, anglicized name of Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong.
