This white tea comes from fine picking in spring 2024: 1 bud + 1 leaf. This is the second commercialized production of the young producer and “tea maker” Lucas Ben-Moura. Tea plants have been flourishing since 2018 on the Terrasses de l'Arrieulat in the heart of the Pyrenees.
The proximity of the surrounding forests, the humid area below and the altitude create conditions conducive to the slow and concentrated growth of young shoots bringing sweetness and fresh woody and fruity notes characterizing the whole the production of Lucas Ben-Moura.
The cup of this vintage is characterized by silky tannins, vegetal, fruity and floral notes with lots of softness and an almost milky sensation, making a thirst-quenching tea that you can forget in your teapot, it will never become bitter, and which can be infused several times.
Prefer preparation with gong fu cha leaving 2-3 min during 1st passage of water, then extend the time by 1-2min over the passages.
Also discover its version resulting from less fine picking 1 bud + 2 leaves, the White tea, as well as its Thé de rameaux, which is an interpretation of yellow tea with sweet and woody notes.
