Himalayan Shangri La, located in the Ilam Valley, perched at an altitude of 1,500m, only produces teas from organic cultivation. This white tea is a taste crush! I approached the cooperative in Nepal which markets them and I was able to select the seasonality and colors that I preferred: this version made in white tea, which I called White Shangri La, and a version made in tea. black that I named Black Shangri La . For this vintage, I selected the summer harvest which has characteristics specific to this time of year: a delicate pinkish yellow hue and vegetal and flowery notes which gently quench your thirst.
